1. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account and using the BIONG Community portal, you agree to these Terms of Use. The portal exists to connect our people, preserve our heritage and build our future, and all members are expected to act in that spirit.
2. Membership
Membership is offered to individuals connected to the community. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that takes place under your account.
3. Community Conduct
Members agree to:
- Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy.
- Refrain from posting unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.
- Respect the privacy of other members.
- Use community features for their intended purpose.
4. Contributions to the Repository
When you submit material to the Digital Cultural Repository, you confirm that you have the right to share it and to have it preserved and displayed within the community portal. Contributions are reviewed before publication. You retain ownership of your work; you grant the community permission to preserve and display it for cultural and educational purposes.
5. Moderation
Administrators may review, edit, or remove content, and may suspend accounts that breach these terms, in order to protect the community and its members.
6. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the portal after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
